You get the book in 3 to 9 business days

1 to 3 business days for the distribution partner to pack it, then 2 to 6 with USPS. Order after 4:00 PM Central and the clock starts the next business day. The Shipping Policy has the detail.

You pay $4.99, and nothing from $35

1 charge covers the whole parcel, however many books are in it. $0 once the books alone reach $35 after any discount. 2 books usually clear it.

You buy from Tennessee; the box comes from a US warehouse

KENNETH COLBAUGH LLC in Decatur chooses the books and answers the email, while a distribution partner holds the copies at its US warehouse and packs each order. The Decatur address is a desk. Nothing ships from it, and nothing should be posted to it.

You can order from the 48 contiguous states and DC

Checkout offers no shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, the territories or abroad, and an order to a PO Box, APO, FPO or DPO address is cancelled and refunded with an explanation. No border, no import charges.

You have 30 days after delivery to send a book back

Any title on the site. It has to be in the condition it arrived, and it needs a return number, which 1 email gets you. The Refund and Returns Policy has the condition rules and the returns address route.

You pay return postage only when you changed your mind

A change of heart means you post it and the original $4.99 stays paid. Our mistake, our label. A fault, damage, a wrong book or a copy that differs from the listing gets a prepaid label, and both the price and the shipping come back.

You have 7 days to flag damage, the wrong book or a copy unlike its listing

1 photo of the book, 1 of the mailer, by email, inside 7 days of delivery; a copy that differs from its listing counts the same way. Then it is your call: another copy, or the price back. The case closes within 5 to 7 business days.

You write after 5 business days of no tracking movement, or 48 hours after a false "delivered"

We open a USPS inquiry or trace, and a parcel USPS confirms lost gets another copy or a full refund. For a delivered scan, try the neighbors first, then the mail room. USPS scans at the building.

You can cancel within 12 hours

1 email inside 12 hours of the confirmation gets a full refund, because the partner has not yet received the order. Same window for an address fix.

You get the refund in 3 to 5 business days, plus the bank's 3 to 10

Money goes back to whatever paid, card or PayPal account, 3 to 5 business days after the return is scanned in or the case is confirmed. Your bank then takes 3 to 10 business days to show it. Restocking fee: $0.

You pay by card or PayPal, and you see the total first

Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover, all through Stripe; a wallet where your device offers one; or PayPal. 3 lines, then the button: books, shipping, your state's sales tax. The Payment Policy covers holds and chargebacks.

You can track with the order number and your checkout email

Both are in the confirmation email. The order tracking page shows 4 steps from Order placed to Delivered, and the USPS number arrives by email as the parcel leaves the partner.

You do not pay import duties; nothing crosses a border

Every parcel is packed in the United States and delivered inside it by USPS. No customs form. Nothing to pay on delivery.

You get new copies of the printed edition, not used or ex-library ones

Every book is bought new from licensed wholesalers that serve US bookstores, and the ISBN and format shown on the book's page are the ones you receive. Cover art can differ when a publisher reissues. The Disclaimer says what that does and does not change.

You reach a person by email within 1 business day
